Guide
Strengths
- Strong board presence: Three Blind Mice, Reinforcements, and the Pigs help spread units across multiple locations.
- Powerful spell buffs: Glinda turns every spell into extra Power for your allies.
- Explosive finishing turns: Three Not So Little Pigs creates multiple Trample threats at once.
- Cheap spells: Defense Matrix and other low-cost spells help activate Glinda.
- Good card draw: Mind Palace helps you find your important cards and keep your hand full.
- Flexible removal: Axe Throw, Obliterate, and Stroke of Midnight help clear dangerous enemies.
Weaknesses
- Relies on board presence: Glinda's buffs are less effective when you have few units.
- Vulnerable to board clears: Losing several units at once can significantly slow your strategy.
- Glinda dependent: Without Glinda, your spells provide less offensive value.
- Board space management: Too many small units can block spaces needed for your Pigs.
- Expensive finisher: Three Not So Little Pigs costs 7 mana, so surviving until the late game matters.
Mulligan
Priority keeps:
- Three Blind Mice — Helps establish your early board.
- Mummy — Cheap unit to develop early.
- Roo — Solid early board presence.
- Glinda — Keep when you already have early units and cheap spells.
Against Aggro: Prioritize cheap units, Axe Throw, and defensive options.
Against Control: Look for Glinda, Reinforcements, and Mind Palace to build a strong board and maintain resources.
Avoid: Keeping Obliterate or too many expensive cards in your opening hand.
Key combos and lines
1. Glinda + Reinforcements
Use Reinforcements to develop your board while triggering Glinda's +1 Power buff. A great way to increase your pressure with a single cheap spell.
2. Glinda + Cheap Spells
Once Glinda is on the board, every spell increases your allies' Power. Chain Defense Matrix, Stroke of Midnight, and other spells to strengthen your entire army before combat.
3. Glinda + Three Not So Little Pigs
Play the Pigs to establish Trample threats across multiple locations. Follow up with spells while Glinda is active to increase their Power and push more damage through enemy blockers.
4. Three Blind Mice + Trash for Treasure
Sacrifice Three Blind Mice to trigger its On Death effect while gaining additional resources. This helps maintain board presence and find more spells.
5. Glinda + Mind Palace
Mind Palace draws two cards and triggers Glinda's Power buff. Use it to find additional spells while strengthening your existing units.
6. Three Not So Little Pigs + Removal
Use Axe Throw, Stroke of Midnight, or Obliterate to remove dangerous blockers and help your Trample units deal damage to enemy barriers.
Matchups
Vs. Aggro / Swarm — Balanced
Contest the board early with Mummy, Roo, and Three Blind Mice. Use your cheap removal to prevent the opponent from gaining too much pressure. Glinda can help your units win trades.
Vs. Midrange — Balanced
Build a wide board and use Glinda's buffs to trade efficiently. Save your strongest removal for dangerous enemy units, then use the Pigs to pressure multiple locations.
Vs. Control — Challenging
Avoid committing every unit at once. Use Mind Palace to maintain resources and try to create a strong Glinda turn before your opponent can remove your board.
Vs. Combo — Depends on Speed
Develop pressure early and use Axe Throw or other removal to disrupt important enemy units. Force your opponent to respond before their combo is ready.
Vs. Three Not So Little Pigs Mirror — Positioning Battle
Manage your board space carefully and prepare for the opponent's Legendary. Glinda's buffs can give your units an advantage, but removal timing and positioning will be important.
