Game plan

Always protect merlin and the apprentice. Boitata depending on the matchup
Mulligan
always keep Sandman, always mulligan spellbook unless it's a perfect curve. I often mulligan merlin's prophecy too

merlin, who makes a double prophecy, and spellbook is very strong. boitata counters lightning bolts and trample. the apprentice on low-cost spells (even those given by spellbook) can make the difference.
