Draft against the Brain or a friend

The Draft is a free way to build an Origins TCG deck from cards you pick one at a time. You choose your Legendary and your cards, then build a deck with the game's rules (1 Legendary and 12 cards, each counting twice: 25 cards). There are three formats:

• Exchange: you see 3 cards, keep one, give one to your opponent and the third is burned.
• Triple: 3 shared cards, one player picks, then the other, and the third is burned. You see everything your opponent takes.
• Packs: packs of 6 cards that you pass back and forth, like a paper TCG. You don't see your opponent's picks.

Against the Brain you play right away, with no account: the Brain is our bot and it only knows what a player in its seat would know. Against a friend you create a room and send the link or the code: the draft starts as soon as your friend joins, with a timer on every pick (when time runs out, the Brain picks for whoever hasn't chosen). You both need to be signed in.

At the end the Brain gives its verdict on both decks, from Outstanding to Weak, based on curve, removal and synergies: it's the bot's opinion, the real match is played in the game. You can copy the game code, open the deck in the deck builder or challenge a friend on the same draft, with the same cards in the same order.

Deck versions

After patch 0.7 many published decks had cards that now cost more. You can now update the cards of a published deck and keep its name, guide, videos and link: on your deck's page, or in your account, press "Update to version 0.7", change the cards in the deck builder and save. Before saving you see what goes in and what comes out.

The previous versions stay on the deck's page, under "Versions of this deck", with their changes and their rating. Votes are never deleted: the rating shown is the one of the current version, while older votes stay with the version they were given to.

Saved and trending decks

• Save: on every deck's page there's a button to save it. You'll find your saved decks in your account, under "Saved decks". Only you can see the list.
• New orders in Decks: Trending, the decks that got the most attention this week (views, copied codes, votes and saves), and Most saved.
• Game version: the filter panel of Decks now has the game version, with the number of decks for each one. Every deck shows the patch it was built for.

Cards and MetaShifting

• In Cards there's a row of cost filters (0 to 6, and 7+) always in view, and under "More filters" the keyword and the power and health ranges, plus a button to clear them all.
• In MetaShifting, every patch now opens with "Before and after": each card whose cost, power or health changed, side by side, with the changed values highlighted.

OriginsMeta Analytics

OriginsMeta Analytics is our Windows app that records your Origins TCG matches on its own while you play: the deck, the result, the Legendaries you faced, with an overlay above the game and for OBS. It's ready and it works, but since patch 0.7 the game no longer saves on your PC the match data the app read, so for now it's paused, and the win rate pages are switched off.

We want to show it to the Koin Games team and ask whether that data can be made available again. If you're interested, press "Yes, I want it" on the page: the more players ask, the more the request counts.

Sign-in and profile

• Code from the email: the sign-in email now has a code next to the link. If the link opens in another browser (your phone, the Gmail app) or doesn't work, type the code in the sign-in panel, under "Already have the code from the email?".
• Your public page: in your account, under your public page, the "Edit my public page" button takes you to a page of its own with your bio, channels, photo and, for Creators, Authors, Pro players and Staff, the showcase.
• Menu: on a computer, Tier list and Deck builder open a submenu, with the tier list pages, Analytics and the Draft.

Guides and comics

• A new guide: streaming Origins TCG, with the OBS overlay, the !deck chat command, the short links and the LIVE badge, step by step.
• Comics can now have versions drawn in each language: readers see the version drawn in their language instead of the automatic translation.
• The guides to the decks published before patch 0.7 keep their strategy as it was written, with a note at the top: the card tables show the new costs.
