The deck in one paragraph

On Reveal Mid Range is a midrange list led by Mulan, published on OriginsMeta on 22 September 2026 by Davdas, a member of the site's staff, and tagged for ladder, competitive and tournament play. The idea is the one the author states on the deck page: Mulan "lets you use On Reveal abilities to the full", and the list is built to have one worth repeating in every round. It holds up against an aggressive deck and puts pressure on a control deck, because the same cards buy time and build a board.

The list

Twenty-five cards: the Legendary plus twelve cards played as two copies each. Stats are those of the Demo 2.0, checked card by card in the game on 22 September 2026.

Ten units and two spells, nine of which carry an On Reveal. That is the whole point of the deck: Mulan is not a finisher, she is a multiplier.

How the deck wins

Mulan repeats the On Reveal of an ally, so every card played after her is worth twice. The three best copies:

Mowgli costs six and summons a 6/6 Baloo at another random location. Repeated, it is two Baloos: a single card that fills two lanes you were not contesting.
Ellen Trechend grows +3⚔️/+3❤️ for each enemy card in her location, and she has Trample. Into a busy lane she is already a threat on her own; repeated, the buff lands twice before combat.
Fairy Godmother gives +3⚔️/+3❤️ to another ally. Two triggers can be aimed at the same body or split across two, depending on what the opponent can remove.

Mulan also has Double Attack, so her own 2/4 body trades better than it reads.

Mulligan

Look for a curve that gets you to Mulan on round four without falling behind: Bagheera on a middle space (a 3/3 for one mana), then Baby Bear, then Black Knight or Frog Prince. Keep Mary when you expect a long game: the Lamb she adds to your hand is a cheap body, and if Mary dies the Lambs you have already played grow permanently.

Round by round

Rounds 1–3: take space without overcommitting. Bagheera in the middle, Baby Bear where you expect the first attacks, Black Knight across from something you want dead. One card per lane is enough: the deck wants the board to be even, not crowded, when Mulan arrives.
Round 4: Mulan. From here on, the order of your plays matters more than the cards. Ask every round which On Reveal is worth doubling, and play it in Mulan's location.
Rounds 5–6: the value cards. Fairy Godmother, then Mowgli on six. White Queen is the answer card of the list: it returns ANY character to its owner's hand, so it can remove a finisher the round it lands, or pick up your own Mary to replay her.
Rounds 7–8: closing. Ellen Trechend into the lane the opponent has filled; En Passant to move an ally, hit what stands across from it, and open a path for the Trample damage.

Playing the time-buying cards

The author calls White Queen, Mary and En Passant the cards "that buy you time", and they are what makes the deck able to survive an aggressive start. White Queen is not removal: the character comes back into the owner's hand and can be replayed, so use her on something expensive, or on a body already buffed. En Passant is removal and repositioning at the same time, and it is the answer to a blocker parked in front of your best card.

Matchups

Ranked data is not public, so what follows is OriginsMeta's reading of the lists, not a win rate.

Against aggressive decks. Baby Bear and Frog Prince played as a 2/5 hold the lanes; Bullseye takes care of three-Health bodies for one mana. Do not spend White Queen early: you will want it for the first large threat.
Against control decks. Ali Baba is the card that keeps your hand full while you press a barrier. Do not commit everything to one location: a board wipe answered by a single Mowgli is a swing you can afford, an empty hand is not.
Against other midrange lists. The deck plays the same game as 3 Pigs Mid Range and King of Value Trade: whoever gets more out of each card wins. Doubling an On Reveal is exactly that, so protect Mulan and play the cheap On Reveals before her only when you must.

The weaknesses, in the author's words

The deck page lists two: a good curve is often essential, and you can run out of answers. Both come from the same place — the deck has no mass removal and only two spells. If you have to choose between using a card now and saving it for a double later, use it now: Mulan repeats what you play, she does not bring anything back.
