What has been announced

Koin Games runs an official Kickstarter Early Access page at founder.origins-tcg.com. On 10 September 2026 the team answered questions about the campaign in an AMA on the official Discord. The campaign date itself has not been published: the page only collects pre-registrations.

Pre-registration: 15% off for 1 dollar

Becoming a VIP with a 1 dollar deposit unlocks 15% off at launch.
The deposit is fully refundable before launch, as stated twice on the official page.
Pre-registration does not commit you to a pledge: it only reserves the early-bird price.

The Alpha Edition

The product line is called Origins Myths & Legends Alpha Edition:

For the Alpha Edition, boxes and cases are preorder only: once that print run is finished, no additional Alpha boxes or cases will be produced. That is the same logic as a first-edition print run in physical card games, applied to a digital collection.

Trading and ownership

Cards can be bought, sold and traded on the Steam Community Market and its connected marketplaces. Koin moved to the Steam marketplace earlier this year instead of an independent on-chain system. Mobile pack opening is planned for 2027.

Free-to-compete stays free

Timeline

15 July 2026: free demo on Steam.
19–26 October 2026: Demo 2.0 at Steam Next Fest, with the Crimson Cup tournament.
Q4 2026: full release on Steam.
