The 11 Legendaries of Origins TCG: cards, stats, patches and decks

In brief

• Eleven Legendaries are in the Demo 2.0, the build of Origins TCG you can play today: six cost 4 mana, one costs 5, three cost 7 and one costs 8.
• Ten are units and one is a spell, Legion of the Dead. Five are Good, three Evil and three Neutral.
• Four of them create other cards through their text: Dracula, Van Helsing, Legion of the Dead and Three Not So Little Pigs.
• Seven changed in the balance patches between August and 21 September 2026; Dracula, Van Helsing, Legion of the Dead and Robin Hood did not. Patch 0.7 of 29 September 2026 did not rebalance any of the eleven.
• The 20 decks published on OriginsMeta by 20:00 CEST on 25 September 2026 use ten of the eleven: Three Not So Little Pigs leads four, Van Helsing three, Wicked Stepmother none. Six Legendaries have an OriginsMeta guide to one of their decks.

The Legendaries below are in order of cost and, at the same cost, in alphabetical order. The guide describes what each card does, not how strong it is: our Origins TCG tier list will rank them from tournament results and the top of the ranked ladder, starting after the Crimson Cup.

The 11 Legendaries at a glance

The last column counts the decks each Legendary leads among the 20 published on OriginsMeta from 15 September to 20:00 CEST on 25 September 2026. It measures popularity on the site, not strength or win rate; the live count is on Most played.

What the Legendary does in a deck

• One per deck. A deck is one Legendary plus twelve base cards, and the game adds a second copy of each base card: 25 cards in play, according to the Koin Games team AMA. The deck builder checks the rule.
• Your opponent sees it. Patch 0.6.1 of the closed playtest (14 August 2026) added a preview of the opponent's Legendary during the mulligan, according to the official patch notes.
• In Conquest it names the deck. At the Crimson Cup each player brings three decks, and when you ban one of your opponent's decks you only see its Legendary (Crimson Cup rules). The announcements don't say whether the three Legendaries must differ; at Big Bob's Playtest Battle they had to. How to put three decks together: our Conquest guide.

The card texts quoted below are the official ones, read in the game; costs and stats were checked card by card on 22 September 2026. Sagas and the notes on each legend are OriginsMeta's own. The patches are those tracked in MetaShifting: playtest updates 0.6.1, 0.6.2 and 0.6.3 (August 2026), the demo patch of 21 September 2026 and patch 0.7 of 29 September 2026, which did not rebalance any Legendary. The legendary power is not covered here: we have not transcribed it from the game yet, and each card page will show it when we do.

Dorothy

• The legend. The Kansas girl carried to Oz by a tornado in L. Frank Baum's 1900 novel.

Dracula

On Reveal: Summon Brides of Dracula [2⚔️/2❤️] on a random space here.

• The legend. The Transylvanian count of Bram Stoker's 1897 novel.
• Cards it creates. Brides of Dracula, a 2/2 that, according to its text, deals 1 damage to the opponent's barrier in its location and gains +1❤️ whenever you discard a card (created card: its text is not verified in the game).
• Patches. Dracula has not changed. Brides of Dracula went from 3 to 2 mana in patch 0.6.2 (patch notes).

Mulan

Double Attack

When an ally On Reveal ability happens, repeat it.

• The legend. The warrior who takes her father's place in the army, from a 6th-century Chinese ballad.
• Patches. Patch 0.6.2: stats unchanged, she gains Double Attack on top of repeating allies' On Reveal abilities (patch notes).

Queen of Hearts

When an ally On Death ability happens, repeat it.

• The legend. The furious monarch of Wonderland whose answer to everything is "Off with their heads!".
• Patches. Patch 0.6.2: from 5 mana 3/5 to 4 mana 3/3, and she gains First Strike on top of repeating allies' On Death abilities (patch notes).

Van Helsing

Before combat, add Van Helsing's Tools to your hand if it is not already there.

• The legend. Abraham Van Helsing, the Dutch professor who leads the hunt for Dracula.
• Cards it creates. Van Helsing's Tools, which lets you choose and play one of four created cards: Holy Water, Silver Bullet, Garlic or Wooden Stake (created cards: their texts are not verified in the game, and the Silver Bullet page still shows its text from before patch 0.6.2; the changes are in its balance history).
• Patches. Van Helsing himself has not changed. In patch 0.6.2 Van Helsing's Tools became free (1 → 0 mana) and the Silver Bullet it creates went from 3 damage to 1 (patch notes); with the demo patch of 21 September 2026 Silver Bullet can also target barriers, and Wooden Stake can target characters at full Health, though it still fails if the target is not damaged when it reveals (patch notes).

Wicked Stepmother

King Arthur

• The legend. An army of the risen dead, the necromancer's last argument.
• Cards it creates. Zombie, 2/2 created cards, as many as it takes to fill your board.

Three Not So Little Pigs

Trample

On Reveal: Summon a Not So Little Pig [3⚔️/3❤️] with Trample on a random space at each other location.

• The legend. The three pigs of straw, sticks and bricks, grown up and not so easy to blow down.
• Cards it creates. Not So Little Pig, a 3/3 with Trample, one at each of the other two locations.
• Patches. Patch 0.6.2: from 4/4 to 3/3, and the pigs it summons became 3/3 to match (patch notes).

Robin Hood

The Legendaries that are not in the Demo 2.0

Our database also keeps nine Legendaries that are not in the Demo 2.0: Alice, Beowulf, Cinderella, Death, Dr. Frank, Mirror Mirror, Red, Winnie-the-Pooh and Wizard of Oz. Their pages keep the last known data, which is not verified in the game. In its AMAs the team has described a full launch with the complete roster of Legendary cards: the dates we know are in the roadmap.

• Patches: the official patch notes on Steam, card by card in MetaShifting.
• Decks: the 20 decks published on OriginsMeta from 15 September to 20:00 CEST on 25 September 2026 (all the Origins TCG decks); the count after that is on Most played.

We will update this guide whenever a patch changes a Legendary or the demo adds a new one.
